Job Posting: Ecommerce, Digital & Social Media Leader
Full-time Term: 6-8 months. (Term Position with potential to lead into Permanent).
Pay Rate: $18.00-$35.00 per Hour. (Depending on experience & skills).
Location: Remote-based/Home-based. Must be located in Canada. (Huna Skin Inc. is based out of 2750 Miners Bluff Road (off Trans Canada Hwy 1), Monte Creek, British Columbia, Canada).
Start Date: Monday June 21, 2021 (negotiable).
Huna Skin Inc. formulates, manufactures, and distributes innovative and science-based Natural and Organic High-performance Skincare products across North America. Huna sells both online and in retail/spa environments. Huna operates an Ecommerce website (https://www.hunaskin.com/) along with social media platforms (Insta, FB, Twitter, YouTube).
Huna is unique because the company owns a 30-acre farm in Monte Creek, B.C. and grows nearly 100 medicinal plants species, harvesting them by hand, processing, refining, and then developing Huna’s proprietary active botanical complexes for exclusive use in Huna skincare.

A degree or certificate from accredited college or university is required for this role, preferably in the area of IT, Technology (any area of study), Computer Sciences, Engineering, Ecommerce, Social Media, Digital Media, Paid Digital Ads, or any other related area of study.
About the Role
The Huna Ecommerce, Digital & Social Media Leader will be responsible for the day-to-day management and successful growth of Huna’s Ecommerce website and activities, Digital Media and Digital Paid Ads, and Social Media accounts.
This role will be responsible for creating an Ecommerce, Digital & Social Media Strategic Plan for Huna, then executing the plan to deliver significant Ecommerce growth for the company. The role will include strategic planning, data analytics, developing KPI’s (Key Performance Indicators) and tracking measures, developing reports for management, and the planning and executing activities and projects to grow Huna Ecommerce KPI measurements. The role will also include; developing and executing various upgrades and content additions to the current Huna website, troubleshooting and problem solving and website issues, conducting SEO management in order to drive increased traffic to the Huna website and convert traffic into new purchasing customers, increase Huna brand awareness and loyalty using social media platforms, digital paid ads, and other proven strategies, manage and execute Huna’s Digital Paid Advertising with a positive ROI (return on investment), and tracking progress and sharing the achieved goals and successes your role delivers on.
Role will also include other tasks (but is not limited to): Inspecting landing pages, product information, checkout options, and all other pertinent website-related systems to ensure their visual appeal, accuracy, and ease of use. Assisting with decisions about promotions such as special offers, gift sets, gifts with purchases, etc. Ensuring that payment options and promotional tabs are configured correctly. Collaborating with appropriate stakeholders to ensure the rollout of website changes. Inspecting and uploading customers’ product reviews. Monitoring website traffic and customer reviews to gauge responses to site updates. SEO to increase the online presence of our website. Analyzing sales-related data to predict future sales and concomitant stock requirements.
This role is expected to increase Huna’s Ecommerce growth significantly and will be held accountable to its growth. The ideal candidate should bring proven demonstrated Ecommerce growth to the table in the form of demonstrated experience and formal education, along with a deep knowledge and expertise in social media content development and management, and proven expertise and experience in paid digital advertising.
This role is fully remote-based/home-based. The ideal candidate may be based anywhere in Canada.

The ideal candidiate has a Degree in Information Technology or a relevant business subject, and has demonstrable experience in the area of Ecommerce. Knowledgeable about consumer preferences, particularly as these relate to Ecommerce. Unrivaled organizational, teamwork, and quality assurance skills. Phenomenal market research skills. Superb data analysis and report writing abilities. A stickler for precision, creativity, and excellence. Eager about the role of technology in promoting business.
Requirements to Apply
