Description
Calendula, also known as Pot Marigold, is our absolute favourite miracle skin plant. We grow loads of Calendula at the Huna Farm. This powerhouse is known as ‘THE Skin Botanical’ because it rapidly heals and maintains healthy skin like nothing else.
Calendula officinalis is used in Plant Medicine as a powerful skin wound healing agent, a potent anti-inflammatory, an antiseptic, antimicrobial, and antifungal.
Calendula officinal petals are edible. Try them fresh or dried in herbal teas or baked goods. The flowers are bright beautiful orange and yellow, and if boiled they create a bright yellow-orange plant-based dye.
Planting Directions: Sow the seeds directly into the garden in the spring, or grow as a container plant. Space plants 6 inches apart. Annual. 40 to 50 days to maturity. Certified Organically Grown.
Plant Family: Aster (Asteracea).
Each Huna Calendula Seed Packet contains: 25 seeds.
Huna is proud to introduce our new Huna Plant Medicine Seed Collection. We are now selling our favourite Medicinal Plants in Seed Packs, so you too can grow your own Medicinal Herb or Pollinator Gardens at home, and harvest your own edible and medicinal plants for teas, cooking, baking, and medicine.
