Full Body Glow!

In lieu of our most anticipated product drop, the Huna Limited Edition Botanical Body Nectar – we are compiling our best practices on achieving a full-body glow, so that you can give your body the nourishment it deserves!

As the climate gets colder, our skin can be coming irritated, dry, and lack vitality. During these months and the month after, it is important to give our skin extra TLC. First things first, make it a ritual. Whether it is a few of these practices daily, it all counts.

Here are a few practices for a full-body nourished glow

Run yourself a bath if you’d like and use this opportunity in a meditative way. A most-loved tip from Heather is too create yourself a luxurious bath by adding 1-2 Tbsp of the Botanical Body Nectar to your running bath water and enjoy softening your skin while you bathe.

While you have the bath going, apply a face mask if your skin is in need of some nourishment and glow. We love the new Okanagan Orchard Fruit + Honey Brightening Mask for a revitalized glow and instant nourishment!  Loaded with antioxidant, polyphenol and nutrient-rich brightening organic Okanagan Orchard Fruit extracts such as apple, pear, plum, cherry, grape, elderberry, black currant, and Saskatoon berry, while ferulic acid, vitamin C, and niacinamide which work to brighten, fade dark spots, rejuvenate, and revitalize the complexion. Find yourself escaping to B.C.’s picturesque Okanagan region filled with the mouth-watering luscious fruity scent!

With your mask on and your bath running, this is a great opportunity to incorporate a dry brushing of the skin. Dry brushing is a method of gently exfoliating your skin using a special firm-bristled brush. Some people use it as part of their skin routine to try to restore firmness, get rid of dry skin flaking, and encourage blood flow to certain areas of the body. This is a game changer for the skin, for your circulation, for lymphatic drainage and to improve the texture of your skin. Start at the ankles and brush up with short strokes towards the center of the body. Same for the arms – start at the wrists and brush inwards towards the heart center.

Now for the most beloved part of the Huna Full-Body Glow Routine! An ultra-nourishing skin treatment, scientifically proven to rapidly heal and repair skin damage, wounds and irritations.  Calendula significantly increases skin hydration levels, and possesses potent anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties.

While the bath is draining, apply our organic Healing Body Oil. The Botanical Body Nectar contains our highest-ever potency of Calendula extract for a luxurious body formulation, with a concentrated 50% Calendula infusion. Our Calendula is both grown and made with love right on the Huna Skin Nutrition Gardens in B.C.

Application: On damp skin, smooth on desired amount to help seal moisture into skin. Let your body dry naturally, or simply pat dry with a towel.

For the face, lock in moisture with the new Revitalize Rosehip Brightening Glow Oil. Infused with a single precious organic Rosehip, this glow oil contains super high-potency vitamins A, C and E, along with a wide spectrum of phytonutrients and protecting antioxidants, which deeply nourish, feed, protect, and visibly brighten skin. In other words, a multivitamin that applies like silk to the skin!
