Meet the Huna Team – Holly Pluchinski, Operations & Executive Assistant
Hey, I’m Holly, Operations & Executive Assistant at Huna Apothecary!
My role at Huna covers a wide variety of responsibilities. After products have been meticulously handcrafted by our Production team (headed by Vanessa), our Operations team takes over. Once a Huna product has left the Lab, I will clean & inspect it, apply labels, and carefully & lovingly package it for our customers and retail partners to receive.
Because we are a small start-up, I wear a few other hats at Huna. I often do a variety of Executive Assistant tasks & project work, and I’m also the Team Huna Yoga Instructor! Things can be very hectic and fast-paced working at a start-up, so our Team enjoys meeting once weekly for a restorative & relaxing Team Huna Yoga practice. Namaste.
A bit about me- I am passionate about ‘Introvert Yoga’ (offered through my company- Kayfabe Yoga), accessibility in yoga and meditation practices and understanding everyone’s needs are different, veganism, feminism, pets, cartomancy (reading tarot and oracle cards), plants, and reading.
I enjoy being part of the Huna team because it’s a company that checks off several key points that are important to me:
– locally owned/operated and woman-led
– products handmade right here in Winnipeg
– products created with ingredients grown in Manitoba (so awesome!)
– focused on sustainability
As I’m a devoted vegan, my favourite Huna products are the vegan options offered by Huna- such as Revitalize Cleansing Creme, Revitalize Age-Grace Serum, and Nourishing Lip Shine.
