How to Use

To use as an Exfoliator: Using spatula, remove approximately 1/2 to 1 teaspoon of dry sandalwood powder and add equal part water, mix to create a paste. Apply paste to clean face and neck, avoiding the eye area and using gentle, light pressure to massage over face using upward circular motions. If it feels too rough, just add a bit more water. Rinse thoroughly with lukewarm or cool water, and pat skin dry. Apply your moisturizer and sunscreen as usual. Safe for all skin types. May be used on face, neck, chest, back of hands, and all other areas of the body. For ideal results use once to twice weekly.

To use as a Mask: After exfoliating, allow the paste to sit on damp skin as a mask treatment for 5-20 minutes before thoroughly rinsing with lukewarm or cool water (note: mask will dry and may flake off, and that’s okay…it’s working!). For acne-prone skin, leave mask on face/acne-affected areas for 30 minutes to see stronger skin-clearing results. May also be used as a target-blemish treatment by applying the mask to individual blemish spots, and leave on for 30 minutes (or leave on overnight).

Being in my late 30s, I’m guilty of neglecting my skin when it comes to regular exfoliation. I go to Profile Studio (in Winnipeg) for facials and she recommended that I use this product and gave me a sample. I gave it a try and I absolutely love this product. It does such a great job of exfoliation but is so gentle on the skin. I use this product once a week and have been using it for almost 2 months. The texture of my skin has improved and I can’t wait to see more improvements in my overall complexion.
